Grandma Killpack's Christmas Party

I got a call from Aunt Vicki about the Springville Christmas party. The information is as follows:

Grandma Killpack is having only ONE Christmas party this year. She will be having it on the second Sunday in December—the 11th. She will do the Christmas "white elephant" exchange on this day, rather than on Christmas. The party starts at 6— we will decorate her little tree, eat a light dinner, and then have the gift exchange. All families are assigned to bring soup, although they said that won't be for US since we are coming from so far. We are assigned to bring dessert. I will bring the main dessert. Anyone else who wants to bring something can bring "snacks."

For the gift exchange, those with children (Jenny) can bring a gift for each of the children with their name on it. For the other gifts, they are suggesting a $10 gift ("kind of nice"). For those who don't want to spend that much money, you "don't have to participate in the gift exchange." Any questions?
