(Great) Grandma Killpack

I got a call from Randy this morning. He told me that Grandma Killpack fell in her house and broke her pelvis bone. They took her to the hospital, but she was told there wasn't anything they could do for her there, so they sent her home. She is just supposed to take it easy and rest for about 6 weeks or so, and she should get better.

I went down to see her with Jenny this afternoon. She is up and sitting in her chair, and doesn't seem to be in much discomfort. She can't walk by herself and so has to have someone stay with her all the time for a while. Randy and Stephanie have offered to have her come and stay with them for a week, but she is comfortable where she is (as long as she is on pain meds, anyway), and wants to stay home.

She would really love a visit from anyone who could give one. While we were there, she said, "I thought no one even cared about me, but I guess everyone does!"
